JOHN: I did arrange a meeting with you in order to get your perspective on a Marine who works for me who is giving you more than $250 a month out of his total net monthly income of $800. I felt that this Marine's "tithes" were too much, and I wanted your take on it. Our conversation led you to give me many, many interesting and telling facts about your "Christian" G12 church philosophy that, quite frankly, disgusted me. It was your own words to me that generated the suspicion I now maintain of your church-business.
RICH: you also misrepresented yourself as PR for the Marine base.
JOHN: What's scary is that YOU, Rich, brought up the position I hold on base during our conversation. I never even told you where I worked. The recorded conversation proves this, as it does my previously stated reason for meeting with you in the first place. This is an erroneous accusation.
RICH: In our conversation (which you have on tape) you said that you gave around $2,000 to charity last year. I challenge you to produce the documentation.
JOHN: I will produce this documentation as soon as you make public your church's financial statements (report of tithes, expenses, salaries, etc.). If you remember, I asked you to show me these documents when we met, but you refused. I'm not the one hiding here, Rich. Besides, my charity work is not and was never the issue. It's yours that is suspicious!

JOHN: Typical Rich Witmer ... should/would a Christian church pastor say this to someone? I know you see me as an enemy, Rich, but are those words representative of how God would want you to treat me?

JOHN: I think Yumans will be much better off without your Prosperity Gospel. Stop taking everyone's money, Rich, and maybe you, too, will one day be saved. It is interesting to me, however, that people leave your church with very negative feelings about their experiences there. Certainly, something is wrong with that picture. Additionally, you have said that your church does NOT help the needy. Instead, you support "missions" to other countries. In my opinion, these are nothing but tithe supported vacations to far off lands disguised as a "mission."
I really don't understand why it's any of his concern or business for that matter if you donated $2,000 to charity last year or not.
His quote "You are a liar and a coward. you are pathetic and weak." seriously couldn't sound more ignorant... For speaking out like you are, you are one of the more courageous Marine's I know... You are going above and beyond your call to duty and showing that you are a true leader by risking your career to protest your fellow Marine's.

God bless you for your revealing of the real truth! You are doing a great job and everything you say is right on the spot. Like in the bible it says somewhere to speak and point out when you know someone is doing something wrong. Expose their sins. That is what you have done. And i thank you for that inspiration. I am 17 years old, bout to graduate, and know the real truth about generations as well. Im part of a group teen bible study called D.O.C..A LOT of people there are from Generations and are BLINDED By SIN and GREED!! I go to a different church...one that SPEAKS and LIVES out the TRUTH!! AMEN! GOD BLESS!!

JR, you mention that I "bring out facts and cite other books ..." How will that put me in Hell? Every Christian is obligated to question those who claim to speak for God. Jesus warned us of false prophets and teachers. My work with this Web site and blog simply exposes those facts and circumstances that I have discovered about Generations Church and its "pastors."
Repent for what? For exposing a charlatan?
Rich and Melissa Witmer (president and vice president of Generations Church, Inc.) are academically unqualified to teach the Bible and lead a congregation of Christians. Their high school diplomas are the extent of their formal educations.

Well John D.O.C. stands for Disciples of Christ. and you got it all wrong. We did not lash out againt Daniel. We admonished him with the word of God. I encourage you if you are going to put down a church use the holy scriptures to back it up. I find no scriptures on this website and ask thst you add some. Just some brotherly advise. I'm not judging you my friend I just encourage you to search the scriptures.

Interesting! You "admonished" Daniel for what he expressed in his post? That's very sad. People have a right to speak their minds! The very fact that your "group" scolded one of its own members for exercising his Freedom of Speech is a frightening example of why cults are dangerous! You should be ashamed of what this D.O.C. represents!
As far as using Scripture in my posts: I have referenced plenty where appropriate. The thing about Scripture is that a person can use it to support anything they want. It takes a learned and qualified theologian to truly translate its meanings (the Witmers are NOT qualified theologians and have NOT studied the Bible under qualified supervision of such).
But out of curiosity, what Scripture would you like to address here?

I personally know of several people who go/went to Generations Church. Rich Witmer is right when he states they will be "forever changed". None of them are normal now. Witmer has his guard up because he knows the truth is being revealed about his much for profit business. Save yourselves and stop going to that cult.

Pator Rich is a good person, and a very good preacher. I have learned alot form him. However, this does not change what he has done. What he has done, it is very inexcusable. Luckily, God, has GRACE and MERCY for EVERYONE.

I am also relieved for this website. It only reinforce the bad feeling I had about my daughter going to this church. She was going to these cells for a while and being harassed by her friend about the encounter. Which my husband and I agreed we did not approve of. This website has been very informative. Thanks

Again, the ignorance of a Generations member amazes me! Need to be taken for a walk, is that all you can say? You sound like an ignorant school yard bully. The problem is as I see it that Generations spends more time worshiping their G12 system than they do worshiping Jesus Christ! You seem to believe that you are superior to other Christians and that your church is better than others. What's up with this? The degree that Generations seeks to control it's followers is frightening. JR take a step back. Have you ever questioned ANYTHING that you have been told? If not, I have some nice beach front property to sell you (LOL) If you have, do you realize that you are always told your thoughts are wrong, that there is never any consideration to your questions? JR, Do you really think that the only to get to heaven is through generations? Seriously? You mean to tell me that no other church in the world offers salvation, except for generations. Amazing. So people like the Pope, Mother Theresa, Martin Luther King, are not in heaven? How does it make you feel knowing that your brothers in California, or your grandparents in Florida, or any other relatives in different areas are going to hell because they do not go to your church? That is what you are saying. Are they going to perish in hell because they do not go to generations. Maybe, just maybe, there are other places people can go to receive the word of God and to get salvation so they too can enter the Kingdom.
Please take a look at what you are saying, JR. God loves us all. It is our job to obey His commands and to do His will, regardless of where we decide to call our church. Take a step back and look at what you are writing and thinking. You might want to go on that walk and do some thinking about what God is telling you.

your characteristics in your writings remind me of those depicting the anti-christ, Christianity is based upon love and i have not seen a glimpse of it in your letters. please stop pointing out the splinter in anothers eye without removing the plank lodged in yours. and JR "generations is not the only way" JESUS IS. and may i quote
"I (jesus) am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the father except by me (JESUS)" don't blaspheme. it hurts God, he's already died for you, don't put Him through any more agony.

WOW! this is the first time I read all these comments. this is sad when a church is teaching such hate as one feels when reading j.r.s notes please stop the madness! and see the truth JESUS is GOD THE HOLY-SPIRIT is who teaches us and by our faith in JESUS we can repent our sin and ask forgiveness then we can expect to go to heaven. not by going to any church and for sure not belonging to a cult! it's my hope we all come to know the lord JESUS CHRIST (GOD) once again my hat is off to John for this site. Thanks John for all your help, i used to visit this "church" with all my family, my kids went to encounter and school leaders I feel so sorry for them because they always was telling me how bad it was for them (my English is not really good, so I apologize)they was bad at school because her cell leader said school wasn't important,some cell leaders are really bad, mind, rude and cruel with the kids, its hard for me to explain my family experience with this cult, please parents becarful with your kids they involve the kids with music, rock, squeletor t-shirt its horrible i hope Yuma city take some action or we should kick those pastor out of this town before they take our kids

Yes, Rich has shown his true colors. I have a dozen emails to back this up, the love of a pastor? we were strong supporters of Generations til we got thrown out because we also got too close to the inner circle. Rich loves controversy! This is what? Confusion which is of the devil. He says he is not afraid of me but won't meet me without a camera crew. My wife is a Filipino leader from the Philippines, and her own brother was in charge of his registration for Rich's conference there, as for also my wife's pastor drove him around. He has slammed my wife, and others in the Philippines. We heard about his scuba diving with our missions money and his extravagant spending there, and we knew it because we are related there! He is arrogant, and hides behind his words. The emails I have? He has falsely accused me, and called me rebellious because I stood up to him and his lies about me. I am sending his emails to the leaders there in the Philippines. My wife's dean from college and her classmates attended his conference. He slammed them. When this particular email gets there, he may as well hide in his metal building. the love of Jesus? I defended this man, now I see more, this is a cult. I could write 10,000 words here and not be enough to speak what has gone on. It saddens me, because we love Jesus and the G12 Vision. he gives the G12 Vision a bad name.

I used to attend Generations church for quite a few years when they first got involved in the g-12 I thought of it as a method to reach the lost. There were some things I didn’t agree with such as every believer a leader and because Jesus had 12 we need to get 12. When I really got to researching the g-12 movement and realize that Cesar Castellanos had a vision from God and was told this was the way to do it the Holy Spirit inside of me put up a red flag. Beware when someone says they have had a word, vision, revelation or anything else from God and it isn’t in the Bible. In I John 4:11 it tells us to test the Spirits and see if they are of God and it also tells us in Revelation not to add or take away from the Bible. I could find no scripture that said every believer was a leader or where Jesus told us to go out and get 12. In fact in Matthew 16:18 Jesus said He would build His church. The church is to go out into the world and preach the Gospel and be salt and light in the world. It is up to the Father to draw them. After a person becomes a believer then you bring them into the Church. How are you suppose to know the sheep from the wolves if everyone just comes into the church? I pray that you will be in the word and test the spirits and have faith that the Holy Spirit will teach you.

Flee Generations; Warn Every One to Flee for Judgment has come.
To those who remain supporters of Witmer, McDonald and Generations church I ask, how many more lives must be destroyed before you wake up and flee that wicked place? How many more marriages must be put asunder? How many more cars, houses, boob jobs, and vacations will you purchase? How long will you allow your money to be used to support greed and lies?
The Lord is long suffering and merciful but He will not strive with these men forever. Right now the Lord is still calling many of you out of that place. He is offering repentance and forgiveness but sooner than you think that offer will be withdrawn and you will be completely turned over to your sin just like Witmer and McDonald have been. Reprobation is a serious matter. Rich Witmer and Tim McDonald are reprobates concerning the faith. They sin openly and willfully. They revel in it and flaunt it openly. The fruit of their reprobation is misery, death and destruction.
The Lord has already judged Rich Witmer and Tim McDonald. The first step in judgment is always strong delusion.
People like Witmer and McDonald don't even realize they are being judged. This same fate waits all who remain supporters of them and their so called “church.” The punishment of those who inquired of the false prophet will be the same as that of the false prophet himself.
Ezekiel 14:8-10
I will set My face against that man and make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of My people. Then you shall know that I am the LORD. "And if the prophet is induced to speak anything, I the LORD have induced that prophet, and I will stretch out My hand against him and destroy him from among My people Israel. And they shall bear their iniquity; the punishment of the prophet shall be the same as the punishment of the one who inquired,
This saying is coming to pass before your eyes. Witmer & McDonald are being destroyed from among God's people because he refuses to cast down the idols in his heart. The Lord is speaking to this false prophet.
To Those Who Remain:
"Now you Pharisees make the outside of the cup and dish clean, but your inward part is full of greed and wickedness. Foolish ones! Did not He who made the outside make the inside also? But rather give alms of such things as you have; then indeed all things are clean to you. "But woe to you Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass by justice and the love of God. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone. Woe to you Pharisees! For you love the best seats in the synagogues and greetings in the marketplaces."

Do you love the promise of being recognized as a "leader?"
Woe to the wicked! [It shall be] ill [with him], For the reward of his hands shall be given him. (Isaiah 3:11)
Will you listen, obey, and repent; or remain, continuing in the arrogant pride of g12, the sin of omission, and be destroyed with him?
